Export Receipts to CSV or Excel

Esta página aún no está disponible en tu idioma.

If you want to use your ReceiptGenie data in Excel, start by creating a report from the receipts you want to export. Once the report is ready, you can export it as a CSV file and open it in Excel or Numbers.

How to export receipts for Excel

  1. Open the Receipts tab or the Statistics tab.
  2. Select the receipts you want to include.
  3. Tap the option to Add to Report.
  4. Create a new report.
  5. Open the report you just created.
  6. Export the report as CSV.
  7. Open the CSV file in Excel.

Best workflow for monthly or filtered exports

If you only need a specific month, quarter, project, or trip:

  1. Go to the Statistics tab first.
  2. Set the date range you want.
  3. Select the filtered receipts.
  4. Add them to a report.
  5. Export the report as CSV for Excel.

This is usually the fastest way to prepare an expense report for accounting, reimbursement, or tax review.

What if I cannot find the export option?

Check these first:

  • Make sure you have selected at least one receipt.
  • Make sure the receipts were added to a report.
  • Open the report itself before looking for the CSV export option.

If the export option still does not appear, contact [email protected] and include a screenshot of the screen you are on.

  • Want a printable export? Start from a report first, then choose the available export option from the report details.
  • Need a spreadsheet for Excel? CSV is the standard format to use.
  • Need a date-based export? Use the Statistics tab to narrow the range before creating the report.
