Delete your ReceiptGenie account and data

Use the latest version of ReceiptGenie for in-app deletion requests. If you cannot update, use the email option below.

Request account deletion by email

Email support@receipt-genie.com from the email address associated with your ReceiptGenie Apple or Google sign-in, if available. Use the subject ReceiptGenie account deletion and say that you want us to delete your ReceiptGenie account and associated data. If you use an Apple private relay address or have not signed in, contact us for help identifying your account.

We may ask you to verify account ownership before processing the request. Do not send receipt images, identity documents, passwords, or sign-in credentials.

We confirm when deletion is complete. For the deletion timeframe and any applicable exceptions, see our Privacy Policy. If your request is urgent, mention this in your email.

Request account deletion in the iOS app

1. Open ReceiptGenie and go to Settings.
2. Under Account, tap Delete Account.
3. Review the irreversible-action warning and tap Delete to confirm. The app closes after the operation.

This action removes receipt data from your device and requests removal of ReceiptGenie’s synced receipt data from your iCloud account. Keep your device connected to the internet while submitting your request.

Once we receive your request, we begin processing deletion of your ReceiptGenie account and associated data. For completion timing, see our Privacy Policy.

Request account deletion in the Android app

1. Open ReceiptGenie and go to Settings.
2. Under Account, tap Delete account.
3. Review the irreversible-action warning and confirm.

This action removes receipt data from your Android device and signs you out of ReceiptGenie. Keep your device connected to the internet while submitting your request.

Once we receive your request, we begin processing deletion of your ReceiptGenie account and associated data. For completion timing, see our Privacy Policy.

Deleting the app or signing out does not submit an account-deletion request. Account deletion also does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription; manage subscriptions through the store where you purchased them.

Request deletion of retained data

You can request deletion of:

• your ReceiptGenie account and profile information;
• your receipt files and related data; and
• your support correspondence.

We may need to retain specific records to meet legal obligations. We will explain any applicable exception when handling your request.

Receipt data stored only on another device remains on that device until you delete it there.

We retain receipt files and related data for processing, recovery, and troubleshooting. You can request deletion by contacting support@receipt-genie.com.
